Q: "How do I get started with Ultrasound Temps, Inc?"

A: Complete the Client Information and Client Contract. Fax the completed documents as well as send a hard copy in the mail to, Ultrasound Temps, Inc., 602 Beverley Dr., Alexandria Va. 22305 or Fax (703) 684-8384.

Call and request a sonographer. Provide Ultrasound Temps Inc. with the time and dates that you will need coverage. (Please note that a signed client contract must be signed and received before Ultrasound Temps, Inc. can send information on sonographers.)

Look for a fax confirmation that will provide you with information on the sonographer assigned to your site and the date and times that the ultrasound coverage is confirmed for.

Q: "Does the client have to supply FICA, Work's Comp, Unemployment Insurance, professional liability our employee benefits to the Ultrasound Temp?"

A: No, all Ultrasound Temps' are W/2 employees. Our hourly rate includes all of the candidate's employment expenses-FICA, Work's Comp, Unemployment Insurance, professional liability and employee benefits.


Q: "Does the client have to supply malpractice insurance for the Ultrasound Temp?"

A: No, all malpractice insurance for the Ultrasound Temp is cover 100% by Ultrasound Temps, Inc.


Q: "Does Ultrasound Temps comply with all JCAHO and HIPAA regulations?"

A: Yes, we take pride in the fact that we stay current to all JCAHO and HIPAA regulations.


Q: "Our facility has odd working hours, can Ultrasound Temps cover this?"

A: Yes, we have fee schedules catered to the demands of 24-hour, 365 days a year schedule of today's modern hospitals. This allows Ultrasound Temps to supply coverage for on-call, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Q: "What should we do if we are interested in hiring an Ultrasound Temps sonographer that has been placed at our facility?"

A: Simply call Ultrasound Temps and make us aware of your facilities interests in hiring the sonographer. We will make arrangement for interviews as well as provide resumes, performance reviews, references, immunization histories, and copies of registry cards. We place a candidate with you for 30-full time business days after which you may hire them for a nominal hiring fee. For the initial 30-business day period, the candidate is our W/2 employee. Our hourly rate includes all of the candidate's employment expenses-FICA, Work's Comp, Unemployment Insurance, professional liability and employee benefits. This option allows you to become comfortable with the candidate before you hire them on a permanent basis. In order to make sure that you are 100% satisfied, we will exchange the candidate if they do not work out within the first 30 days trial period. Plus, after hiring the candidate we offer a money back guaranty* if the new hire does not work out within a 3 month period of time.


Q: "We may need help with ultrasound coverage in the future but currently we are fully staffed. What should we do to insure that we never go without adequate coverage?

A: Ultrasound Temps want to make sure that you never go with out proper coverage. To prevent this, simply compete the necessary paper work with Ultrasound Temps. We will keep you on file. Completing the paperwork ahead of time will insure that we can supply you with last minute coverage when the time comes.
